ORBIS Distributing was established originally as a distributor of several cutting edge, new tech health, energy, and sports drinks in the southern central United States. We rapidly learned that the greatest need and most beneficial product for people was something that would hydrate their bodies more.
After learning about a 'new type' of water, ordering in a few dozen cases of it to test with honest friends of widely varying ages and health states, of whom, most all reported things like more energy, more sense of well being, less aches and pains, and on and on, I felt a deep calling to make people aware of this simple and such basic way to improve their quality of life.
We had seen that most all of the people who tried the structured water reported some degree of improved quality of life, so we continued our mission directing all of our focus on developing a hydration product that could do even more to help more people.
Late in 2001, we were contacted by the business representative of a group of doctors/scientists from back east who had been referred to us by our customers. This group had developed a technology for molecularly re-structuring, energizing, and stabilizing water, without adding chemicals and they were using it in a concentrated form in medical applications. We had evaluated several waters, none of which actually did perform as they claimed but, this one did! So we used that base technology, made a few modifications, improvements and developed RAPID Hydra-Cell.
That undertaking proved to be quite an experience as, not surprisingly, we were laughed out of many stores when we first said we had a 'different water' and that it would sell for $4 per ½ liter (16 oz) bottle. We endured the grueling introduction/education curve and established a customer base and core retailers for the product with our passion, persistent tenacity, hard work, and by sharing RAPID with many new friends.
As we frequently hear, 'The Lord works in mysterious ways'.
We've learned a great deal about people, the importance of cellular hydration, the healthy product merchants, personal & business ethics, as well as what people want in the water they count on to hydrate their bodies and to be the kind of company they trust to have the integrity and conscience to deliver that water to them.
We will never settle for anything less!
